‘Empezar’ (pronounced as ‘Em-uh-Zah’) is Spanish for ‘A Beginning…’. The essence of Entrepreneurship is an initiative; a beginning towards a coveted yet uncertain and seemingly elusive end. It is the domain of an exceptional few in a crowd- who dare to step out and create opportunities for themselves and for others. Organized under the Entrepreneurship Cell, a student body at IMI, Empezar is an annual Entrepreneurship Conclave, one of our many initiatives aimed at nurturing the Entrepreneurial spirit of budding professionals in educational institutions across India. It is a forum for the celebration of the audacious spark of innovation, exploration, and victorious creation. The E-Cell at IMI is a vibrant forum that organizes guest lectures and workshops relating to key issues in Entrepreneurship, throughout the year. It also holds various competitions for juvenile entrepreneurs. For, we at IMI believe that while the innate art of Entrepreneurship defies all principles of pedantic learning, it does require careful nurturing and an uninhibitive environment, to grow and prosper. |
